  • Completed the Local 720 'Gladiator' Reinforcing Ironworker pre-apprentice training program — hands-on rebar fabrication in the union training shop.
  • Read and executed AcH Steel structural shop drawings end-to-end: bar mark schedules, bend types, spacing callouts, and lap lengths translated directly into built mock-ups.
  • Tied and assembled a full-scale double-layer rebar mat to spec, matching the slab-on-grade mock-up drawing's plan view and section exactly.
  • Practiced fabrication of column and pile-cage rebar cages under the same shop-drawing discipline, working safely alongside a crew using rigging and lifting equipment in an active fabrication bay.
  • Graduated the Gladiator class and is registered as a Reinforcing Ironworker pre-apprentice with Local 720, awaiting dispatch.
